The new mentor of the Central Asian Mentoring Platform is Shakhlo Turdikulova

Shakhlo Utkurovna - Director of the Center for Advanced Technologies under the Ministry of Innovation Development of Uzbekistan. The main scope of activity of the Center combines research, development, and support of biotech startups.

Shakhlo Utkurovna is a doctor in Biological Science, the author of more than a hundred scientific articles, the co-author of two articles published in one of the most reputable scientific journals in the world, Nature, in 2014 and 2016. Between 2002 and 2005 Shakhlo Utkurovna completed her postdoctoral internship at the University of California.

Also, she is a consultant-expert of the International Committee of the Legislative Chamber of the Parliament of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a scientific expert of the Ministry of Innovation Development and the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.

The experience of our mentor will be useful for startups in the field of medicine, biotechnology, agriculture.
