Train the Mentor joint programme with enpact (Germany)

Tech4Impact in collaboration with enpact is launching their first joint project as part of a manifold partnership with the aim to foster the mentoring community in Uzbekistan, in particular in the Cleantech sector.

TECH4IMPACT has been supporting the startup ecosystem development in Uzbekistan through its various capacity building trainings based on innovation and technology for human capital and creating economic opportunities for women since 2016.

enpact has been empowering entrepreneurs and contributing to build startup ecosystems through international cooperation in emerging markets since 2013. In collaboration with Tech4Impact, enpact will train 15 experienced entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan through its “Train the Mentor” (TTM) programme to become mentors for Cleantech startups in Uzbekistan. The aim is to share international best practices and enpact’s unique approach and methodology with regards to mentoring. TTM offers a deep understanding of mentoring and how it differs from coaching or counselling.

Participants will not only learn about pedagogical and didactical tools, receive theoretical input and apply them in practical exercises to learn the methods and well-tested practices of mentoring and business coaching but also get a clearer understanding of their role in the startup ecosystem.

This comprehensive and practical training targets experienced entrepreneurs and specialists from the Cleantech sector as well as local experts with experience in strengthening the entrepreneurial skills of budding entrepreneurs. Candidates with an educational background in business and entrepreneurship and a keen interest in pedagogical approaches are invited to apply.
